¶ Procedure
To link a Moodle course room to a Dynexite module, first ensure a Dynexite block is added to the Moodle course room.Follow these instructions.
Then enter the course ID in the corresponding Dynexite module. Depending on whether you need to create the module or it already exists, follow one of two procedures:
¶ Create a new module and link it to a Moodle course room
1. Open module creation:
Go to the Courses tab and click Create. The Create a new course window opens.
2. Enter course name and term:
Fill in Course Name text field and select a period from the Term drop-down menu.
If you clone an existing module, choose a name different from the cloned module!
3. Enter course ID:
Enter the Moodle course ID in the Course Identifier field.
Find the course ID in Moodle under Edit Settings in the General section. The ID is stored in the Course ID field.
4. Create module:
Click Create to add the module. You return to the module overview.
¶ Link existing module to a Moodle course room
1. Open module settings:
Go to the Courses tab, click the … icon for the module you want to link, and select Settings.
2. Enter course ID:
Enter the Moodle course ID in the Identifier field.
Find the course ID in Moodle under Edit Settings in the General section. The ID is stored in the Course ID field.
3. Save changes:
Click Save to return to the module overview.
The button Open Dynexite now appears on the right side of the Moodle course room.
